What GST billing software actually has to get right
A GST invoice is not a styled receipt. It has to carry the supplier and recipient GSTIN, the place of supply, an HSN or SAC per line, the taxable value, and the tax split — CGST and SGST for an intra-state sale, IGST for inter-state. Get the place of supply wrong and the split is wrong, which means the return is wrong.
MizUp Finance stores HSN/SAC and the GST rate on the item itself, so the line is correct because the master is correct. Nobody re-types a tax rate on an invoice at 7pm.
Stock that moves when you sell
Billing and inventory are the same event seen twice. When an invoice is raised, stock leaves the warehouse it was sold from; when a purchase is recorded, it arrives. MizUp keeps an append-only stock ledger, so any quantity on any day traces back to the document that caused it.
Multi-warehouse, batch and expiry tracking, serial and IMEI capture, and low-stock alerts are part of the same ledger rather than a separate module that drifts out of step.
Built for how Indian businesses actually bill
Tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive pricing per item. Wholesale, retail and MRP on the same product. Cess where it applies. Units that match the UQC codes a GST return expects — NOS, KGS, LTR, not free text.
